40 x 37; 1,480 Square Feet, Capacity 106
Built in 1913-14 to house the boiler, transformers, storage batteries and workshop for the transpacific wireless station, Buck Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is recognized at a national level of significance.
Buck Hall has been completely renovated into the facility’s largest meeting space. It has a versatile, airy main room with high ceilings and many large windows with views of the bay on one side of the room and the forest area on the other. Large leather chairs ensure your conferees will have the maximum in comfort. Your group will also benefit from this building’s tiled lobby, sitting area, and two large spacious patios.
22 x 28 and 13 x 13; 785 Square Feet, Capacity 40
McCargo Hall is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is one of two cottages built by the American Marconi Company in 1913-14 to house its Chief and Assistant Engineer.
It has been renovated to become our most beautiful meeting space. The Mediterranean stylistic elements of the building include the extensive use of tile and an arcade veranda which offers a spectacular view of Tomales Bay, the historic Marconi Hotel, and the cascading waterfall, pond, and garden area.
McCargo’s cozy pre-function room is exquisitely furnished and includes a gas fireplace. Its L-shaped main room meets the needs of our smaller groups wanting a more intimate meeting space with comfortable leather chairs and lightweight tables.
Pine Lodge and Cypress Lodge
28 x 24; 672 Square Feet, Capacity 45
Contributing to the unique history of the facility, these two buildings were constructed by Synanon between 1964 and 1980.
Both buildings are designed to accommodate groups up to 45. Both have a 672 square foot main room opening off a central hallway; their main rooms have sliding glass doors onto a secluded patio with views of the forest area and Tomales Bay.
Cypress Lodge includes one breakout room with a capacity of 14 people
(15 x 13).
Pine Lodge includes two breakout rooms: Breakout A with a 12 person capacity
(15 x 11) and Breakout B with a 10 person capacity (15 x 10).
Marconi’s lodging buildings are nestled around a garden courtyard area where our guests can relax between meetings and take a quiet moment to enjoy the beautiful views.
Lodging includes 40 guestrooms with private baths, available in 1,2, and 3-bed configurations. All rooms are smoke-free and most have exterior access. Handicapped accessible and equipped rooms are available.
